Charlene Hall joined Indian River Shores Public Safety as the Departmental Receptionist and Accreditation Assistant in November, 2007. In this role, Charlene was involved in the Department’s initial preparation and documentation for the Commission of Florida Law Enforcement’s accreditation of the Department which was awarded in February, 2009. Charlene was promoted to Accreditation Manager in 2009 and managed the successful re-accreditation of the Department in 2012. The Department’s initial accreditation and subsequent re-accreditation is a significant accomplishment as only 30% of Florida’s law enforcement agencies have achieved this status. In 2012, Charlene was promoted to finance, human resources, and records manager. In 2018, Charlene was promoted to the Executive Assistant to Chief Stone and Deputy Chief Shaw, as well as retaining her responsibilities in finance, records, and human resources. Prior to joining Public Safety, Charlene was employed by the State Attorney’s Office as a Felony Secretary for three years. Charlene attended Indian River State College.
